Hello hello! I am a MA student at Aalto University and sadly had to say goodbye to my fur babies for the duration of my studies. But I can't live without pets! Hence I think Pawshake might be the solution for both of us :)
I grew up with animals constantly around me in the Baltics, and would even consider my 20-year-old Siamese cat Pixel to be a brother of mine at this point. Since I've been living in my own apartment, I've helped friends and their pets with vacation trips, in-between situations, and weekends camping; and have also participated in a temporary foster care program - helping out overcrowded shelters & taking in both cats and dogs until they find a forever home :)
I have a strong nurturing side, where I care deeply for every animal I look after from the bottom of my heart, no matter if it's just for the afternoon. I have yet to have a bad experience despite the variety of different furry friends throughout 5 years. The last cat I've fostered, an elderly British Shorthair, was an absolute champ going through kidney disease which we reversed together, I'm so proud of him!
I strongly believe that open and transparent communication is the absolute key, and I completely empathize with how scary it may be to leave your bestie while going away! I hope to be the best accommodating nanny and friend to the kitty/puppy for everyone involved to have a stress-free time :)
My apartment is in Lauttasaari, which is conveniently located and close to both Espoo and Helsinki. Commuting is no problem for me with my trusty bike & I am very close to a metro stop as well. I live alone so I could also accommodate overnight visits too. I'm new to Pawshake, so my prices are at a minimum for now. Even though I'm new here, as mentioned, I'm definitely inexperienced with hair combs, medication, and responsibilities.
Tell your pet I said hi!!
I felt safe leaving Dobby with Auste again :)
Auste is very communicative and extremely friendly, I feel very safe leaving my dog with them again! Thank you ❤️
